Silver Lining Villages

Silver Lining Villages is a life skills academy providing alternative stress reduction techniques, holistic services, EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), and other non-invasive modalities for post traumatic stress, military sexual trauma, and light traumatic brain injury.

Toys 4 Tots Campaign - 2020 Silver Lining Villages and Southern Crescent Veteran Services joined together to serve children at 11 schools in the City of South Fulton, and Dekalb, Clayton and Henry Counties. 154 children in need, including 10 National Guard families, were awarded toys, food and/or clothing during this holiday season. They picked up items at our farm and other locations, served by several diligent, hard working volunteers. We will continue to provide this program next year as well and as long as possible. Volunteers for the holiday season are welcome.

Silver Lining Villages works to support Veterans and their families as they rebuild their lives after traumatic experiences in their lives.

When Covid-19 struck down the country in March, it effectively ended group and individual on-site sessions, as well as the picnics and events we normally have at the farm. They have continued Zoom therapy sessions with individual Veterans, but knew that we needed a new sustainable approach for providing services. They looked around, and saw almost five acres of loblolly pine trees on our 6 acre farm, researched the uses for them, and Loblolly Molly was born!

Loblolly Molly - all things pine! Training Program

Loblolly Molly training program is designed for transitioning service members and displaced Veterans re-entering the workplace after experiencing alcohol and drug misuse, as well as Veterans with significant post traumatic stress and military sexual trauma. Through partnerships, we will prepare Veterans in small rotating groups, to become entrepreneurs, operating their own small farming and/or food cottage industry or retail business, or to comfortably move into the workforce.
